The debut of Escape Room places with 18MM against a 9MM budget, an easy genre win in January.  Mary Poppins Returns shows with 15.8MM on a 44 percent drop, which means it won't have the legs of The Greatest Showman, but it still might find some legs during awards season. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse swings into the fourth slot with 13MM on a 31 percent drop, probably a weekend away from sequel territory with 275MM worldwide.  Bumblebee rounds out the Top Five with 12.8MM, and foreign receipts might just save this franchise, which is just getting started in China.
