WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Glass tops the chart with 40MM (likely 47MM thru MLK Jr Day), which is at the low end of projections, but likely fine against a 20MM budget. It's going to be the third-biggest MLK Jr Day debut and the third-biggest opening for afilm by M. Night Shyamalan.  The Upside places with 157.7 on a quite leggy 23 percent drop, raising the ceiling on the 66-67MM total domestic run many had projected (it's already at ~44MM).  Dragon Ball Super: Broly shows with 10.7MM (although this estimate may change, as there has been some odd confusion about the number of screens it's on). The anime franchise has grossed over 21MM domestic since opening last weekend. Aquaman dives to the fourth slot with another 10.3MM on a 40 percent decline -- but could wind up third if the Dragon Ball number is hinky; plus, it's made over a Billion dollars worldwide, so no one's crying. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse rounds out the Top Five with 7.3MM on a leggy 20 percent drop; the 150MM domestic haul to date will boost prospects for a sequel.

SHAZAM! has a new trailer online.

SONY & R. KELLY have agreed to part ways.

KANYE WEST taped an interview with David Letterman for an upcoming episode of the latter's Netflix talk show.

LES MOONVES is fighting CBS’s decision to deny him a 120MM severance package.

GAME OF THRONES: Sophie Turner has spoiled the ending to a select few.

AQUAMAN: Zach Snyder reportedly helped James Wan undo some of Joss Whedon's influence on the character.

LEE UNKRICH, the Oscar-winning director behind Toy Story 3 and Coco, is leaving Pixar Animation Studios.

CROW confronts CAT.

DUNKIN won't eat his food unless it is microwaved, because he thinks that makes it human food.

THE WORLD'S CUTEST DOG dies of a broken heart.

THE RED-SHANKED DOUC is a pretty Zen monkey.
