WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tops the chart with 65 million; that's a whopping 20 million more than projections, which again underestimated the ability of Michael Bay to make mediocre movies people love to see.  Guardians of the Galaxy places with 41.5 million on a 56 percent drop; that's only a few million below projections and maybe surprising in light on the strength of TMNT. Guardians is the only movie this summer to approach 40 million in its second weekend; its 175 million domestic total recoups its production budget and exceeds Captain America 2 in that film's second weekend, which technically opened last spring. With a couple more leggy weekends, Guardians could end up beating Transformers 4 for top grosser this year. The debut of Into The Storm shows with18 million, which may be enough to profit against a 50 million budget. The Hundred-Foot Journey took the fourth slot with a respectable 11.1 million against a 22 million budget.  Lucy rounds out the Top 5 with another 9.3 million; its 112 million worldwide take to date almost certainly means profit in its theatrical run. Below the fold, Step Up All In opens with an anemic 6.6 million here...but 25 million abroad, which is where this fanchise is increasingly making its money.
