WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: The Angry Birds Movie tops the chart with 39MM; more important is the overall global take of 143MM, as Sony has spend somewhere between 300-400MM on this flick, once marketing is included.Sony undoubtedly hopes for a franchise/universe here in the mode of Despicable Me, with all of the further merch opportunities.  Captain America: Civil War places with 33.1MM and cracks a Billion worldwide; how good that is depends on whether you see this as being an Avengers movie in disguise, or a threequel like Iron Man 3. It's budgeted more like the former and may perform somewhere in-between. But either way, its a yuge amount of money, and far ahead of Batman v SupermanNeighbors 2: Sorority Rising shows with 21.8MM, far less than the 49MM opoening of the original...but alright, given its 35MM budget.  The Nice Guys takes the fourth slot with 11.3MM, right about where tracking numbers predicted, and probably short of profitability before tthe home market (which is sad, given the terrific reviews it has received).  The Jungle Book rounds out the Top Five with 11MM and has made more money worldwide than both of director Jon Favreau's Iron Man flicks.
