JOHN WETTON, prog-rock bassist and singer for Asia, King Crimson, Family and more, died Tuesday after a battle with colon cancer. He was 67. So obviously, I'm going to serve up Asia's "Heat of the Moment" and "Only Time Will Tell," along with King Crimson's "Starless."  I saw one of Asia's very early US concerts because it was pacakaged as part of a series before anyone knew wjho they were. And when I found out who they were, my immediate thought was that it would be fairly hardcore prog;in those pre-internet days, people were unprepared for just how pop they would be.
