WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Pixar's Onward easily tops the chart with 40MM... but that's one of the worst Pixar debuts ever (it's fourth-worst, but two of those are Pixar's first two films, Toy Story and A Bug's Life).  Virus scare, a too-early release, or did people just not see the value in a fantasy-based Pixar flick?  They better hope it's not the first one.  The Invisible Man places with 15.2MM on a 46 percent drop that's pretty good for a horror flick, and excellent for a flick costing 7MM to make.  The Way Back shows with 8.5MM which suggests a wash against a 25MM budget.  Sonic the Hedgehog slides to the fourth slot with 8MM on a 51 percent drop, bearing the brunt of Forward opening. The Call of the Wild rounds out the Top Five with 7MM on a 47 percent drop, continuing to fall way short of where you want a 150MM film to do.
