THE WEDDING PRESENT fuzzes up "19th Nervous Breakdown" for The A.V. Club Undercover.

BONNAROO: There's a streaming mix at NPR from artists appearing at the fest this upcoming weekend.

FREE ENERGY played the World Cafe Live; you can stream the whole gig via NPR.

KEANE stopped by the World Cafe for a chat and mini-set.

THE UKULELE: Go ahead, call it a comeback.

THE DRUMMER at the WRONG GIG: Steve Moore, who went viral on the throne covering "Sharp Dressed Man," is interviewed by Philadelphia Weekly.

ROBYN HITCHCOCK talks to The Phoenix about reality, comedy, tragedy and more...

RICHARD HAWLEY talks to The Line of Best Fit about his four-part radio documentary on the history of the sea and a similarly nautical upcoming EP. Plus, his thoughts on shows like The X Factor: "That's just a cancer in our society.  It really is.  It focuses totally on the aroma rather than the taste - it's all about the by-product of making music..."  (Thx, Chromewaves.)

BROKEN BELLS are profiled by the Boston Globe.

THE SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP: The Independent surveys the cross-polination of rock across the Anglosphere.

WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Shrek Forever After threepeats as the champ with 25.3 million, in a weekend that shows both the level of disarray among the competition and the power of holding 3-D screens at your local cineplex.  Get Him to The Greek places with a 17.4 million debut against a 40 million budget, which likely makes it another repeat of the successful Apatow production formula (keep the budget down).  It will likely finish somewhere around 100 million, about twice as much as the total for Apatow's more costly Funny People.  OTOH, Killers shows with a 16.1 million debut against a 75 million budget -- and that was at the low end of projections.  Ashton Kutcher's last two projects went straight to DVD, but this one cost too much. Good thing Lionsgate sold the foreign rights to cut their exposure.  Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time drops a notch -- and 54 percent -- to the fourth slot, with 13.9 million. Overseas receipts will have to save this 200-million price tag.  Sex & the City 2 plummeted 59 percent to the bottom of the Top 5 with 12.7 million; it has made 73.4 million, but the original had broken the 100 million mark at this point in its run.  Below the fold, Marmaduke's 6th place, 11.3 million opening (against a 50 million budget) helps explain why Shrek remains at the top, while Splice about as disappointingly in eigth place with about 7.5 million against a 30 million budget.

GARY COLEMAN's parents have withdrawn their court bid over their son's body.

TIGER WOODS: Elin Nordegren packed up the couple's two kids to visit her brother in Shanghai, China, according to RadarOnline.

SANDRA BULLOCK made her first big post-breakup appearance at SpikeTV's Guy's Choice Awards. She will also be honored at the MTV Movie Awards.

JESSE JAMES believes that Sandra Bullock will take him back - at least that's what his ex-wife (fmr adult film star Janine Lindemulder) claims. And he might, as he's clearly crazy.

KRISTEN STEWART admits she "really made an enormous mistake" in comparing the intrusiveness of the paparazzi to being raped, noting that she's made stupid remarks before, but clearly stepped over a line this time. Stewart has a record of helping groups combating violence against women.

SCARLETT JOHANSSON apparently skipped the photoshoot for Esquire's "Women We Love" cover in May -- but it's impossible to complain for getting Christian Hendricks instead.

AMY WINEHOUSE's new boyfriend has a girlfriend, and has for about two years.

THE AVENGERS: The Hurt Locker's Jeremy Renner is in final negotiations to play Hawkeye in the Joss Whedon-directed megapic.

IRAN: The French Defense Minister said on Sunday that France and Saudi Arabia share the same "concerns" about Iran's nuclear programme, adding that he discussed the issue in Riyadh.

AFGHANISTAN: Coalition forces killed a Taliban commander with links to al Qaeda and the training of fighters in Iran during an airstrike in the southwestern Afghan province of Farah.

IRAQ: Iraqi and American forces have killed or captured 34 of the top 42 leaders of Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia, cutting off the terrorist organization from its foreign sponsors and raising questions about whether it can reconstitute, the senior American commander in Iraq said.  Authorities in Iraq have refused to renew weapons permits for thousands of Sunni fighters belonging to Awakening Councils.

CAT vs. SNAKE: Let's go to the video.

HUNTING BRUCE: On The Trail Of The 'Jaws' Shark.

A ROGUE ROOSTER has been disturbing the peace north of the border.

A SCARF-WEARING PIG strolls along Highway 401.
