WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: The Meg tops the chart with 44MM, taking advantage of the dog days to become the first non-franchise "hit" of the summer. It's not a great opening against a budget somewhere between 130-170MM, but the 100MM overseas grosees suggest it might become a franchise.  Mission: Impossible - Fallout places with 20MM on a leggy 43 percent drop and looks even more likely to become the biggest film of this franchise. Disney's Christopher Robin shows with 12.4MM on a 49 percent drop that's pretty steep for a family flick without major competition; maybe no franchise here, though that may depend on the home video market.  Slender Man takes the fourth slot with 11MM, a little above projections and probably good against a 10MM budget.  BlacKkKlansman rounds out the Top Five with 10.8MM against a 15MM budget, all good news for Spike Lee's first big release since Inside Man.
