WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Captain Marvel easily repeats atop the chart with 69.3MM on a 55 percent drop; that percentage isn't uncommon for standalone origin stories in the MCU, and it's from a bigger debut than some.It could wind up grossing closer to 400MM domestic and a Billion worlwide as moviegoers gear up for Avengers: Endgame. The debut of Wonder Park places wih 16MM, a bit better than projected but still dodgy against a reported 80MM budget, though Nick is planning to make it a TV series, which may boost the home market. Five Feet Apart shows with13.1MM, again a bit better than expected and just fine against a reported 7MM budget. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World slides 36 percent to the fourth slot with 9.3MM;I'd call that drop leggy, but Tim Burton's Dumbo is coming in a couple of weeks. Tyler Perry's A Madea Family Funeral rounds out the Top Five with 8MM; it may wind up as the second-biggest grosser in the franchise.
