YUSUF ISLAM (Cat Stevens), OZZY OSBOURNE and THE O'JAYS brought "Peace Train," "Crazy Train" and "Love Train" to the big Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert rally in DC over the weekend.  Given Yusuf Islam's record, it's not clear whether he was there for the Rally to Restore Sanity or the Rally to Restore Fear.

WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Saw 3-D won the Halloweekend with 22.5 million (against a 20 million budget), a much better take than last year's Saw VI, which opened with 14.1 million. Paranormal Activity 2 suffered as a result, tumbling 60 percent to second place with 16.5 million -- but with a total of 65 .7 million on a 3 million budget, all's well.  Red held in the third slot with 10.8 million, which makes for a total close to its 58 million production budget; overseas and DVD sales will make this one nicely profitable.  Jackass 3-D may have tumbled 60 percent to the fourth spot with 8.4 million, but it breaks the 100 million mark against its 20 million budget.  Hereafter rounds out the Top Five with 6.3 million and 22 million total against a 50 million budget; its 47 percent drop may worry the studio, both financially and in terms of Oscar buzz.

Also it turns out that the real issue between Gibson and baby mama Oksana Grigorieva may not be child custody.  He is also reportedly stashing millions in his church's coffers.
